MIDROC CEO Highlights Workplace COVID-19 Prevention

MIDROC Ethiopia Group Companies CEO Ato Abennet Gebre-Meskel

(September 15, 2020) – Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MIDROC Ethiopia Group Companies Ato Abennet Gebre-Meskel highlighted the importance of the Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) prevention in workplaces.

The CEO was speaking this morning at the opening of a half-day briefing on key issues of pandemic prevention held at the head office of the Group Companies, Nani Building, for the top management of the group.

The briefing was given by a group of medical doctors from “New Age 19” consulting firm specialized in the area.

Dr. Nahom Tadelle, one of the medical doctors has brought key prevention measures to the light.

Participants at the occasion also raised queries and underscore the vitality of COVID-19 prevention in workplaces and corporate groups like MIDROC Ethiopia.

It was recalled that the Ethiopian Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in collaboration with Confederation of Ethiopian Trade Union (CETU) issued COVID-19 Workplace Response Protocol last March.
